Fred Funk... lots of hackers are almost as long as him, and should try
to imitate the parts of Funk's swing that make him so accurate off the
tee.
Corey Pavin... the best "short hitter" shot maker and scorer the game
has ever seen. PS- I've seen Pavin hitting balls at the range. He is
MUCH longer, on a repeatable basis, than just about ALL of the 20+
handicapper hackers that I play with.
Justin Leonard... great course manager and strategist...
Can anyone name others??
Realistically, most male hackers have the distances and clubhead
speeds of....Lorena Ochoa, Paula Creamer, and Mi Hyun Kim... (and not
even close in terms of consistency), and most hackers play on similar
tracks...
However, most hackers compare themselves to and try to emulate the
games of..... Tiger, Daly, JB Holmes, Sean "the beast" Long Drive guy,
and Jason Zuback Long drive guy...

Let's not get carried away here. I admire Pavin's game, but Paul
Runyan has to be considered the best ever in those categories.
