Subject: Tips on good contact?

Actually, it's just a mini rant. My swing's good enough to make good contact and get me around the course but I seem to make one or two a round where I forget to hit the ball, probably peeking or something, and I hit a topped grounder, the length of which depends on whatever happens to be in front of the tee box. You'd think a super-genius such as myself would be able to maintain concentration and focus for 36 swings wouldn't you?

Pet subject of mine a the moment. When chipping and that ball jumps in the air with that well-struck sound, where exactly did I strike it and how do I apply it to the full swing....
