Hank Haney's article in the February 2007 mentions how a teacher on
the PGA Tour's main job is to tell players such Tiger what they are
doing different.

"They can't see themselves and they can fall into old tendencies". His
priy job isn't to tell Tiger what his swing should be - it's to
tell him how his swing is different today.

I suppose that once you have reached a consistent game - the best use
of a pro is in real short lessons that tell you if you're falling into
some habit that you are not recognizing. Which means, you want a
pro who is familiar with your game.

Or a camcorder.

I don't think a camcorder would do it. If you can't feel the subtle
differences, you probably can't see them on a video.

Think about it. I would bet that if you set up a camcorder and recorded
yourself through 5 or 6 good, consistent swings (a feat in itself for
most of us) you would be hard pressed to pick up minute differences in
each swing. Even if you did, could you specifically say which
difference resulted in your losing or gaining 20 yards on each swing?

I couldn't find it - it's in the print magazine.
