The Big Easy missed the cut today, ending his tour-leading streak at
46. The new leader is Jim Furyk, with 20.

Did he at least make it look like he was trying?

He was clearly trying and the frustration was palpable.

I felt sorry for the fella. He had a decent score going into that last hole.

I'm sure he knew where he stood in relation to the 10 stroke cut line and
that last short putt of a couple feet that he lipped to miss the cut was
just too painful to watch.

Three putting from inside 10' to miss the cut by one has to hurt.

And Tom Watson 3 putted #18 from inside 10' for a triple bogey to miss the
cut by a stroke.
