On my home course there are always several deer walking around. They're very tame, you can walk about 15-20 feet up to them. But this past Sunday afternoon was wild. It was cool and cloudy. I must have seen 30 deer during the round, once walking up upon about a dozen of them. Wish I had my camera.

Didn't Larry post about this tragedy befalling him?

Have you ever played on a green where deer or elk had fought? I have. I've played at mountain courses in the Fall where they drag around those chains used to groom ski slopes - to break up the elk droppings.
