The greatest event ever in the history of this newsgroup. To be held in the Spring/Summer 2007. You have the cronies and the non-cronies, now affectionately to be known as the CumWads. Site to be announced, dates to be announced. This is no troll, this event is in the works, IF there is interest. An event with more special surprises ever before at an RSG event. But I need a good response. At least 20 folks to make it worth the monumental amount of time I will put into this. There will be tee shirts, more souvenirs than you will be able to carry home, dinners each nights, comedy skits, roasts, you name it. This will be the chance for all the cronies/CumWads who have fought it out since the inception of this group to flame it out where it really counts, on the golf course. And afterwards, in person, not with some PC to hide behind. The event will be fun. We will make fun of ourselves. We will make fun of our games. And maybe a few bitter enemies leave as friends. Make your declaration now as a Crony or a CumWad. I will keep a list when we assign the matchups for this Ryder Cup style event. I am proud to say I am a CumWad. I am proud to say that I will die as a CumWad. I am proud to say I will be the captain for the CumWads. And I am proud to announce Dene as the assistant captain of the CumWads. So which one of you chikcen shit cronies is going to step to the plate and be a captain. The CumWads will be waiting! And who will the assistant captain be? You cronies get to work and let me know.. I am open to possible venues. Please make your suggestions and they will be gladly entertained. One person I have already spoken to about this has suggested Arizona in April. Couldn't think of a better place myself. So please respond if interested. If there is sufficient response, I will get to work on this with a firm itinerary by late 2007. And then I will need a deposit from all attendees, as a good faith effort that you will attend. And then it will happen and once and for all we will see who rules here, be it the Cronies or the CumWads. The Hammer

This whole debacle is a black eye for the Bush > presidency, whether you choose to admit or not. > To be fair, he did the same thing in NYC and that's still a big hole in the ground as well. And he also promised to go after those responsible. That didn't last long. Remember this White House press conference on 3/13/02? Read what he says there and see how that's worked out. =========================== Q Mr. President, in your speeches now you rarely talk or mention Osama bin Laden. Why is that? Also, can you tell the American people if you have any more information, if you know if he is dead or alive? Final part -- deep in your heart, don't you truly believe that until you find out if he is dead or alive, you won't really eliminate the threat of -- THE PRESIDENT: Deep in my heart I know the man is on the run, if he's alive at all. Who knows if he's hiding in some cave or not; we haven't heard from him in a long time. And the idea of focusing on one person is -- really indicates to me people don't understand the scope of the mission. Terror is bigger than one person. And he's just -- he's a person who's now been ginalized. His network, his host government has been destroyed. He's the ultimate parasite who found weakness, exploited it, and met his match. He is -- as I mentioned in my speech, I do mention the fact that this is a fellow who is willing to commit youngsters to their death and he, himself, tries to hide -- if, in fact, he's hiding at all. So I don't know where he is. You know, I just don't spend that much time on him, Kelly, to be honest with you. I'm more worried about making sure that our soldiers are well-supplied; that the strategy is clear; that the coalition is strong; that when we find enemy bunched up like we did in Shahikot Mountains, that the military has all the support it needs to go in and do the job, which they did. And there will be other battles in Afghanistan. There's going to be other struggles like Shahikot, and I'm just as confident about the outcome of those future battles as I was about Shahikot, where our soldiers are performing brilliantly. We're tough, we're strong, they're well-equipped. We have a good strategy. We are showing the world we know how to fight a guerrilla war with conventional means. Q But don't you believe that the threat that bin Laden posed won't truly be eliminated until he is found either dead or alive? THE PRESIDENT: Well, as I say, we haven't heard much from him. And I wouldn't necessarily say he's at the center of any command structure. And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him. I know he is on the run. I was concerned about him, when he had taken over a country. I was concerned about the fact that he was basically running Afghanistan and calling the shots for the Taliban. But once we set out the policy and started executing the plan, he became -- we shoved him out more and more on the gins. He has no place to train his al Qaeda killers anymore. And if we -- excuse me for a minute -- and if we find a training camp, we'll take care of it. Either we will or our friends will. That's one of the things -- part of the new phase that's becoming apparent to the American people is that we're working closely with other governments to deny sanctuary, or training, or a place to hide, or a place to raise money.

Yeah right, like he's to be trusted. Now me on the other hand, I have $5k to spare, so here's my deal with you big mouth. My $5k against an equal value share in your boat. Eric provides verifiable information from the institutions that he obtained his degrees from that he he is in fact degreed suuma cum laude in each of his noted fields. If he does, you can have my $5k. I'll put it in an account of your choice tomorrow (9/11/06) via certified check with the caveat that the degree information as noted above is required for withdrawal of the funds. I'll enjoy driving your boat next year partner... It's not my fault that my Mother has money. I don't happen to need any of it because I make 3 or 4 times what you do, month in and month out. And I play golf 3 or 4 days a week. I can furnish transcripts, showing quite clearly three distinct degrees with my high at the top of t heclass status, and they will not accept scans. They will not accept guys like BIll-0 or Annika viewing the transcripts. They express these paranoic notions of doctoring and forgery. As if someone like Bill-o, a st guy and highly educated himself (PHd if I am not mistaken) , could not detector be suspicious of a forgery in a minute. The cronies with all this spin not only make themselves look stupid and paranoid, but they insult perfectly decent people here, who have the sense to know the real thing or a potential forgery when they see it. The proof of all this is in the works. how embarassing it will be for all, when I can prove without any degree of equivocation three discrete degrees, all at the top of my classes. And not mail order degrees, as BK has said repeatedly. Keep tuned to this station, it is in the works as i have said. you guys make it all so fun. Thanks for the entertainment. You see, RSG is where working with computers and other boring mundane jobs, has become an outlet from life to many. RSG has become a crutch vehicle for social dysfunction. Some here play golf and frequent this newsgroup for that past time/hobby/sport. But you don't see them involved in the usual light that RSG has become. Oh, some get involved once in a while as a "break", but you usually don't see them as involved in these daily antics like you do some. I admire the 'foreign' visitors/posters. They have better social interaction then the usual inhabitants. Most who 'live' here (the prolific posters), have social dysfunction. It's all spelled out in their postings. If they only knew how childish they look to the world, they would 'act' better, but they don't. Many think this is a private posting area or they forget that it isn't. You see, this is their only way of being able to disrespect someone without suffering the consequences which come from such displayed actions. If you will, this is their computer version of 'Lord of the Flies'. RSG is their Island..the BEAST they fight against..is life, as normal people know it. Those involved in the daily, continued, spats aren't here for golf content, they are here because this has become a society for them that has no rules, except what they make up for their "sides". Obviously "their way" (the usual RSG antics) is considerably much safer for them to vent their personal and perceived vendettas, pent up frustration, act out their social dysfunction. Ask yourself this..would normal people continue such childish actions on and on? RSG is not to be read for golf or golf content. It is a place to read about social dysfunction. RSG has lost it's golf theme long ago.

Yeah, Roger and you cannot keep from getting into these threads and criticizing those that are fighting. How many times have you jimped into these threads with an admonition to "get a life!"? I will prove these credentials my way and on my terms. Waiting for one missing peace of docmentation and then will prove you all wrong. Since all have failed to ante up, I will do this on my shcedule and on my terms. I am in no hurry to prove anything, because I certainly am not in a rush to prove anything to the likes of you, but it will happen. And your suggestion that I will doctor a certificate or transcript shows absolute paranoia. That I would even take the time to do that is hilarious. You are not worth spitting on the pavement for, let alone taking a ride to a Kinkos as you suggest and doing some"doctoring". How you would you like it if I falsely suggested that the clubheads and shafts you use for the busines you SPAM here for are copies and/or counterfeits. Could you prove 100% they are not. Same stupid logic, once again showing that a degree in Sociology is worth about as much as a degree in Butt Wiping Technology. Stay tuned, oh belching and slobbering one. Verification is easy. 3rd party review of documents plus written authorization to the colleges to release/verify. The bet I wouldn't make is that the loser, especially your hero Bobby Knight, would actually pay. Can he? You don't know that. I don't know if I could tell--in fact, I suspect I could gin up a pretty neat-looking phony diploma if I had a mind to. Criminy, there are diploma mills everywhere--all you need do is check your email for spam--and anyone with a bit of skill in Photoshop or similar, along with some fancy paper, can make up a diploma. That's why it's so simple--all Eric needs do is provide that authorization. I looked back, and I guess i did make it clear. Here's the exact quote, in fact: "all Eric needs do is authorize the school to release that information. Anyone who thinks that can't be done doesn't understand academia." So now I have to wonder--are you just sitting back taking potshots at people without even giving so much as a single thought to what you write before you press the send button? > > Why do you think schools, when they issue transcripts to > >>students, print "Issued to student" on the transcript so that anyone who >>looks at it knows it may or may not have been altered after such issuance? >> >>No, there's only one way to verify, and that's to have the school at >>which the credentials were earned verify. Eric, if you happen to be reading this - why don't you just >say what school(s) they were? Where's the harm? You've failed to see that there have been so many zigs and zags that everything has been obfuscated. I don't believe that Eric has three, separate, degrees...all with honors. I said so in December, and he backed down. If I made what you considered an outlandish claim, and you called me on it...who should have to be convinced? Well, if I cared what you thought, it would be you, not a third party. There was never any intention for me to take a bet, so how could I back down? I still say that he doesn't have three separate degrees, all Magna Cum Laude. If he doesn't care if I call him a liar...which I do, and not only for this caper...then screw him. He's been proven to reverse his statements more than once here. If and when, he divulges his educational background the way he suggests, it still will not be perfectly clear. There will be a catch, or arguable facet. I expect that, and then there would be another wave of bullshit. The bottom line is that if he wants to prove that he didn't lie in his first statement (three degrees, all summa cum laude) prove it. Otherwise STFU. Greg's involvement is just a continuation of his jumping in the middle of a situation so someone would pay attention to him. Imagine having to hang your face in Eric's crotch for that??? What schools, what years? If they won't release the info, then why not say? I'm done with it, and I surmise that long&left and bigoldcat are st enough to see it the same way. ___, \o

Why no takers? How about this as a theory instead? That his history here makes his level of trust nearly zero (if not zero), and without an ironclad way of verifying what he says is true, one would be a fool to accept some pieces of paper he might even now be having ginned up at the local Kinkos. And as for the arguments that no school will release info on a student's records, that's a laugh. How do you think employers verify educational credentials? Why do you think schools, when they issue transcripts to students, print "Issued to student" on the transcript so that anyone who looks at it knows it may or may not have been altered after such issuance? No, there's only one way to verify, and that's to have the school at which the credentials were earned verify. That's easy enough to do--all Eric needs do is authorize the school to release that information. Anyone who thinks that can't be done doesn't understand academia. So there's a much better theory about how and why this is all playing out the way it is. As for whether I think he has three degrees, all summa cum laude, well, I don't. And if he wants to prove me wrong, he can do so quite easily--simply tell us the schools, the dates, and so on, and have me call them and verify. Very simple. Very easy. My take on SCL, and I'm certainly no expert, is that there are institutions, usually those in the higher learning category, that bestow this honor as a matter of course, but say for instance if you graduated with an Associate degree from East BumF**k Jr College they would not bestow such an honor. Would it be normal for the person that graduated with said Associate degree in the top 10% of their class to consider themselves to have graduated CSL? And, even more importantly, would anyone else have to consider them to have graduated CSL? Dave

I think my provisions were quite reasonable to not-so-brave Dave. Is it unusual for somebody to hold the money in a fair bet? Also, shouldn't one know all the specifics of the bet before it's agreed to. If you disagree, then be specific. If you're referring to Eric, his only condition was that kitty boy e-mail him. As for BK, Bob wanted the names of the school in advance. That would not do him a bit of good. I know the names of the schools and they will not reveal a thing unless they have authorization, period. Sure Eric could provide this....but why should he, especially to an individual who doesn't have the character to ever admit he's wrong, about anything? Reasoning with BK is a black hole. > Oh, and btw: if he can back up his claim, and he's fishing to > make $5000 from it, you can add "fuckin' thief" to his list of > character qualities. It's as absurd as me announcing he is a pauper, then demanding that he substantiate it with bank statements. And since when is winning a legitimate bet thievery? > : So am I! > > Your choice. I am all for a legitimate bet. I will gladly place my 5K in some type of escrow arrangement or give the money to somebody I trust. I am waiting to see others volunteer the same, without spin and this incessant game playing. . Seems your idol and others back off when it comes to putting up the big bucks. I am ready to put up 5K, when will your cronies be ready to ante up?. They won't. because there is some doubt that they have let their toilet mouths overflow and they just might be out of 5K. I am ready to put up my 5K. I can't lose, the evidence will be unequivocal. you are just loving all this. you all are. A golf newsgroup......right! So, we can dedicate another 500 posts if you want. When the evidence comes out, there are going to be some embarassed cronies. And then you can get on your crony mailing list and do damage control for hours. You can spin the unequivocal results, and call it fraudulent, doctored, or whatever. You can attack me, call me psycho nurse, on meds, whatever. Or you can call into question the credibility of whomever physically views the documents. Have at it Bro. This is sheer entertainment to me. I know what credentials I have. I don't care whether you or your mailing list cronies believe it or not. Your utter obsession with this and willingness to allege doctoring, forgery, and then making bets and pulling out makes this more entertaining than any night on the town could ever be! hey, I am going out to dinner now. gonna suck down a few Ritas. And then have a few laughs at you all when the Tequila kicks in. You guys stick to this board and your private mailaing list and gossip about this and make fun all night. Have at it if it gives your lives some meaning. I am honored to be the fadder! You honor me with all the attention you give me. And you honor this group, by giving it some badly needed material. The golf stuff is frankly boring. If you golf and have a few friends outside this group, you don;t need to talk golf with mostly strangers or experience it vicariosly. BTW, are you coming to the Crony/CumWad cup. Or are you afraid too of the potential embarassment. Or are you afraid as an individual to show because your other cronies may not be coming? Or are you one the many blowhards here that talk like you are some big guy, but in real life some loser and can't even afford to go. If it is $$$, I will gladly help pay your way! And so will some of the others! god bless you Chris The Hammer

All you have to do to collect your money is produce the names of the institutions that awarded you SCL honors. That's it. Couldn't be simpler. Game playing? That's what one would call demands for personal contact info, posturing about the alleged need for such information, calling into question the serious- ness of anyone not willing to jump through your hoops, etc. You should know all about game playing. There's no need for you to put money in escrow or any such nonsense if you indeed have three degrees Summa Cum Laude. And, as pointed out repeatedly, "legitimate bets" do not involve one bettor knowing the result in advance. What you're proposing is either theft (if you won those honors) or an endless game of "nobody wants to step up to the plate and meet my ever-changing con- ditions" (if you didn't). In fact, I'm the one pushing for an Arizona date the 1st week of April. Regardless if the formal tourney occurs, guys will be getting together to play golf around then. As for the Cup, I think.... 1. None of the Cronies will commit. It's beneath them. 2. If they did, they'd lose big time. 3. If I'm wrong about number one, the event does have the potential of breaking down some barriers and perhaps create a better newsgroup as a result. I'd like to see that, even more than the fulfillment of number two. -Greg Ps. Too bad shortnsoft backed out of the bet. I had every intention of donating the 5k to this event. I still would, if he changes his mind, assuming of course that I win the bet.

Whether the events comes off or not, that is fine. I think it would be fun. A lot of us don't hold grudges and can see past them in the name of a fun golf outing. Seems more than interesting though that this is a golf forum, and when a challenge is offered to play golf, there are often no takers among the cronies. Yet, start a flame war, and there are two dozer takers among the cronies in less then one hour. Be interested to see the response. If insufficient, we will forget about it. If response is good, it will happen. The Hammer
