The Denver area has had its 3rd snow storm in three Fridays. I've
never been this long without a club in my hands since I started
playing. And I expect the snow will take over a week to go away even
with good weather.

Cabin fever.

And by the time we move there, you'll be back in New Orleans.....right?

Theresa and I will likely be in Az for a quicky trip on Presidents day.
Fer sure, 1st week of April. We're looking forward to seeing you
both.

BTW....my uncle works for a golf course in Green Valley and can get
free green fees, if he accompanies us. You might want to consider
coming up in Feb. He's fun to play with.....quite the character.

The more time you spend in AZ, the better IMO. Really enjoyable time
playing golf with you and Theresa (or Teresa, depending on spelling!)

How about brown hair and very blue eyes, with a 36-26-36 measurements.
She is waaaaay out of my league.

But what's with the envy....you ried a doctor!

A doctor that told me to get my lazy ass out of bed at 11 am this morning
and walk the dogs. Any sane person knows I should not be required to be up
before the crack of noon.

I'll be planning an RSG-DC for sometime in May but, I won't schedule it
on Mother's Day weekend like I did last year.

It's in the 60's here still and the rain has moved out of the area.
So I guess you know where I'll be tomorrow morning.

Playing golf? Hell, no.

It's "All you can eat pancakes" at the IHOP, baby!

It rained today and the temperature was in the upper 50's. I am trying
to figure out which golf course to play at tomorrow morning when the
temperature is supposed to be 60*F by 8AM and 70+*F by 1PM. Decisions,
decisions, decisions.

Oh, usually the high is in the upper 30's this time of year.

Quit your bitchin. You live in fuckin Denver, not Orlando.

Same goes for you schmucks in Seattlle and the NW.
It rains there .... a lot. Don't like it? Move.

I don't hear Big Tex, Bellomy, or BK bitchin cause it got hot in Texas.
You don't hear Frostback complainig about the humidity in Mississippi.
Hell, they even have black golfers there.
And those fools in Wisconsin don't bitch about being snowed in all the
time. They knew that when they fucked the bitch.

It didn't flood.

It snowed. Like it always does in Denver.

People bitched about it. Like the always do in Denver.

You don't like it?
Then "Get Out of Denver, baby, go!"

Oh, and since this is now a political forum ... :-) A friend just sent
this (note that some of this is not totally accurate):

What happened to the state of Colorado:

George Bush did not come.
FEMA did nothing.
No one howled for the government.
No one blamed the government.
No one even uttered an expletive on TV .
Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton did not visit.
Our Mayor did not blame Bush or anyone else.
Our Governor did not blame Bush or anyone else, either.
CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX or NBC did not visit - or report on this category 5
snowstorm.
Nobody demanded $2,000 debit cards.
No one asked for a FEMA Trailer House.
No one looted.
Nobody - I mean Nobody demanded the government do something.
Nobody expected the government to do anything, either.
No Larry King, No Bill O'Rielly, No Oprah, No Chris Mathews and No Geraldo
Rivera. No Shaun Penn, No Barbara Striesand, No Hollywood types to be found.
Nope, we just melted the snow for water.
Sent out caravans of SUV's to pluck people out of snow engulfed cars.
The truck drivers pulled people out of snow banks and didn't ask for a
penny.
Local restaurants made food and the police and fire departments delivered
it to the snowbound families.
We fired up wood stoves, broke out coal oil lanterns or Coleman lanterns.
We put on extra layers of clothes because up here it is "Work or Die".
We did not wait for some affirmative action government to get us out of a
mess created by being immobilized by a welfare program that trades votes
for 'sittin at home' checks.
Even though a Category "5" blizzard of this scale has never fallen this
early, we know it can happen and how to deal with it ourselves.
"In my many travels, I have noticed that once one gets north of about 48
degrees North Latitude, 90% of the world's social problems evaporate."
It does seem that way, at least to me.
I hope this gets passed on.
Maybe SOME people will get the message. The world does Not owe you a
living.

So how many of those Colorodans lost their homes and everything they
own in those snowstorms? Oh, none.

You guys have really been socked this year.

We're having a pretty warm winter, but a really wet one. Weather
guesser claims we are 12" over normal for the winter. All I know is
that playing golf here is wet and muddy as hell.

In fact, the membership has unofficially renamed the golf course from
'Pine Lakes' to 'Pine Lake'! ;-)

Thinking the same thing from another Denver area resident. I usually
golf more in the winter than I do in the summer--too many other outdoor
opportunities to spend time golfing in the summer. Anxious to get out
and try my new Divnick custom croquet-type putter (not conforming to
USGA rules).

Wonder if anybody is trying snow golf in the area?
