The first Ryder Cup pairings are announced and it looks like it is
going to start with a bang. They are as follows:
Match 1
(Time 8:00) Padraig Harrington/Colin Montgomerie (EUROPE - Ireland &
Scotland) v Tiger Woods/Jim Furyk (USA)
Match 2
(Time 8:15) Paul Casey/Robert Karlsson (EUROPE - England & Sweden) v
Stewart Cink/JJ Henry (USA)
Match 3
(Time 8:30) Sergio Garcia/Jose ia Olazabal (EUROPE - Spain & Spain)
v David Toms/Brett Wetterich (USA)
Match 4
(Time 8:45) Darren Clarke/Lee Westwood (EUROPE - Ireland & England) v
Phil Mickelson/Chris Dico (USA)

I'm afraid not that I can find but there should be highlights at the
end of the day on the official site. We of course are doing regular
updates on the play...not quite the same as watching it live but still!

There is live streaming on the Sky Sports website apparently - but this may
only be available to people in the UK

I wonder if Lehman is planning to keep the Woods/Furyk and
Mickelson/Dico pairings for all the fourballs and foursomes. I don't
know whether it's a great idea pairing your best players together. They
can only win one point for each match. It backfired badly last time.
When the two top players, Mickelson and Woods, were paired together,
the European attitude was that (1) Beating that pair would be a huge
boost (2) The best contribution the US could get from their top two
players would be 4 points over 2 days.
