hi Had to return a three month old set of irons that went rusty on the blades[previous message about two months ago] Now replaced I need to remember how to prevent it forming again. I dry the clubs and stand them out of the damp but I have in the past left the iron covers on! Ihis was probably a mistake but need the do's and don'ts re club caring. Can you wipe a thin film of grease on the blade in the winter to protect it? I guess you can, just wondered if anyone had done it.Cheers.

I've bought a set of Mizuno MP-32s and rust spots began to appear in about a month. I DID put iron covers on them and later I found out the covers were the cause for the rust. Don't use covers on forged irons! Kelvin

If they are forged blades, they'll only rust if you wear the chrome off, which should take a lot of time to do.If clubs rust after 3 months, you bought some low quality clubs.
