I just got back from a week up in Kansas City with family. Since the
Thanksgiving week is usually a cold/wet/snowy type, I didn't take my
clubs.

Wouldn't you know it, every day was nearly 70! ;-(

So why not rent the sticks and get out? I travel a lot, and whenever I'm
going somewhere where I might play I pack an old pair of shoes and a package
with a dozen balls, glove, tees and sunscreen. That way if I want to play I
just rent a set and get out there. Not the same as bringing your own, but a
whole lot less hassle to haul around.

PS: KC is now covered in snow and ice

I actually never even thought about renting clubs, and I don't know why.
I've done that before.

As to KC's weather, yeah I noticed that on the weather channel today.

We're just raining and raining and raining... ;-(

I won the grand prize in a barbeque competition a few years ago, and
received a week in Kansas City, all expenses paid.

Second prize was 2 weeks.
