Played Long Bay, Blackmoor, The Witch and had a great time, we are looking for more quality courses to visit from the massive choice. Maybe T.P.C. & The Wizard, which courses would rank as must plays?

I checked those two out and they are both on our revised list, I read that a mini crisis is hitting Myrtle Beach Golf does this mean courses are cutting back on maitenance and are other Golf destinations suffering in this way?

This means golf fees and membership fees have risen, and the course owners no longer give a rats about locals down here. Members are finding it harder to get favorable tee times, since the tee times are taken up by the packages. That should ease up a bit after Easter. But most courses are in great shape now.

It's that time of year again, and they don't usually volunteer that information.

It's > that time of year again, and they don't usually volunteer that > information. The TPC is open, I played it Saturday afternoon. I'm not sure I would catagorize it as "fun" however - brutal in places and S L O W - 1:50-something tee time, didn't get out until 2:20 or so. Finished on #9 (started on the back) at 7:15 in the gloom. Played the Legends - Parkland, Heathland, Moorland. Parkland is nice to get warmed up on. Moorland really is fun to play, don't remember a lot about Heathland because of the 20mph wind and 50-something weather that made it painful. Heritage - what a pretty course. Myrtle Beach National: West Course - fairways like a muni but with impossible greens - wouldn't play it again. Kings North - quite a challenge (but my highlight was an Eagle on 10) so despite a ugly scorecard - I can't be unhappy with the course ;-)

Wizard and TPC are both fun...also love Tidewater, Hether Glen and, as some near-carnival golf, Brick Landing.
