The second annual RSG DC Winter Round was held on December 30th at
Poolsville GC in Montgomery County yland, just north of Washington
DC.. The round started at about 10:45 AM with the fog lifting and a cold
damp wetness chilling the participants. By the fourth hole the fog was
burning off and the warmth of the Sun was chasing the cold away. With
the clear blue sky above and temperatures in the low to mid 50's it was
a very pleasant day to be outside on the second to last day of December.
Surprisingly the round was finished in about 4 hours even though our
group waited for the preceding group to clear the fairway and green on
many many holes. It was cart path only and with the cost being $24.95
with cart we were surprised to finish in 4 hours. Oh, the golf was
adequate. We had 100% of last years participants in attendance.

k you calendars for late December of 2007 for the third annual RSG DC
Winter Round.

Thanks
Bert Robbins

I am still limping but, I may make it to the course tomorrow afternoon.
It is supposed to be 59*F in the Wash DC area.

I wanted to shoot some golf tomorrow when the rains stop; but I really hurt
myself last night (the same nagging foot issue). I went to the Peach Bowl;
and if that wasn't enough walking around I ended up circling the whole
Georgia Dome after the game looking for the Falcons Landing so I could find
my way back to the CNN parking lot. By the time I got home my foot hurt so
bad I had to have my wife bring my crutch out to the car so I could walk
into the house. I have used the crutch all day and I am on about my 8th
motrin already.

Motrin is useless. Try Ultram or his big brother Vicodin. You will need
to see a physicain to obtain the Ultram and Vicodin.

My wife is an MD and I have Vicodin in the house; but it always gives me
the green apple trots and makes me want to puke. Motrin never bothers me,
no matter how much I take.
