Putting Tournament at the men's club this month: score plus putts less handicap for a net total. A guy hits a hole-in-one on a stroke hole for a net score of zero on what is essentially a par 5 hole (in the net terms of the tourney). Now, is that a quadruple eagle, a triple albatross...or some other species of bird?

This guy was so lucky ... not only did he get a score of -1 on the hole, he did it on a tournament day when all drinks were comped.

I've never seen anybody turn in a -1 for a hole. In this tournament were players more likely to aim just off the green? I see that many people should aim just off the green on some holes - but nobody ever does it (Billy Casper excepted). In this tournament, the advantage of doing so is magnified.
