Subject: RSG DC 2006 Winter Round December 29th and/or 30th
Ladies and Gentlemen,

The second annual RSG DC 2006 Winter Round will be held on either
December 29th or 30th at about 10:00 AM each day, or we might just play
each day, I will be playing both days regardless. The 29th and 30th are
weather guessed to be in the low to mid 50's. The course will be one of
the Montgomery County Golf courses, see www.montgomerycountygolf.com. We
will be playing Laytonsville, Falls Road or Needwood. All three are nice
and are easily walkable and are in very good condition for this time of
year.

Last year's round was held on December 30th at Laytonsville and there
were two participants, JJK and myself. This year I hope to increase
participation by at least 100%.

If you are interested in playing please e-mail me at br6079@comcast.net
with your prefered date and how many you will be bringing.

Thanks
Bert Robbins

Isn't it "Porcelain Throne"?

At least it's what I'm thinking the few times I've kneeled b4 it, in my
underwear, waiting to hurl, then sweat profusely, feel good for 20
mins., then start the dry heaves cycle for 3 hours, concluding with
doses of 7 up.

Happy New Year, especially those of you who will perform this ritual
late tonight.

I'm bummed I missed the game a week or two ago; but my foot is still really
in bad shape. Now you folks pick to play the same day as the Peach
Bowl?!?!? Are you people anti-American or something?!?!?!

What happened to the foot Head? (I filter a lot of the non-Scottish msgs so
I may have missed it)

A "gimme" can best be defined as an agreement between
two golfers neither of whom can putt very well.

I first started having pain from doing my tial arts. I saw a podiatrist;
who sent me to a therapist after doing x-rays. It still hurt; so I stopped
pushing my foot for a while. About two months ago I was runnng to my car in
the rain and felt what I would describe as a "pop" in my heel and then was
unable to even walk on it. Turns out I tore the tendon that connects the
ball of the foot to the heel of the foot. It's been a nagging problem
since.

I had a cheilectomy on my right foot two years ago and I still manage to
walk 18 at least two times a week in the spring, summer and fall. It
hurts the next day but it is a good hurt when the drugs kick in.

Peach Bowl? What is that, some kind of eating contest?

We are very American, we are doing it rather than just talking about it.

Not sure what that is. I tore the tendon in my foot that goes from your
heel to the ball in your foot (called a Plantar Fascia Tendon). I was told
to be gentle with it for a while; and I have been. I still shoot 9 or 18
about once a week; but after that when I get home and get off the foot for
a while the pain becomes horrendous.

What - you unsophisticated people don't know about the Peach Bowl? It's a
special place where the greatest SEC team to ever exist beats the snot out
of some ACC dirtballs.

OOOH - Impressive.

Sorry the "this is the South, where we fry everythin" police have gotten rid
of the Peaches and changed the name to the Chik-Fil-A bowl.

I hate that they changed all the names. None of the bowl names are even
recognizable anymore. Takes all the fun out of it.

What the heck are a GMAC bowl, a Capital One bowl, a Mieneke Car Care
Bowl, and an Insight bowl?!?!?!?!?

Millions of dollars for the schools that play in them.

None of which is of any value to me right now as I try and figure out what
they related to 20 years ago.
