84=B0F this afternonn...and I had some time to golf, 9 holes at least. Wide open until I got to 6 and I ran into the back of a pack. Not too bad though. Waited a bit on 6, played it pretty fast, making a nice par. Waited a bit on 7, hit my drive after the guys ahead hit their 2nd on the par 5. I hit it into an area where you can't see where the second will go. So I walked up the hill and waited till the 2some in front of me (in a cart BTW) was within 100 yards of the green (closest I figured I could get was 100 yards from the green). I walk back to the ball and hit. I hit a nice shot that winds up almoist on top of the 100 yard ker. The 2some in front of me drives back to my ball and look at it. They then drive up to their ball, which is right in front of the green and play the hole. I figure being a wonderful, considerate person, I should back off a bit, and not get so close (I had expected them to be on the green when I walked over the hill after hitting my second on 7). So I make a few extra chips and putts on 7, give them time to get to the green on 8 before I tee off. So I play 8. Hit a couple of approach shots, several putts...and they hit their tee shots on 9 and wait for me to finish 8 and walk to the 9th tee before they drive to their ball...and all I could think was "how very RSG of you!". I was only playing 9 anyways, so I went home. Maybe they felt I hit into them on 7, but I wasn't within 50 yards of them off a blind 2nd shot, and I hardly put pressure on them. I sat down in my little spectators chair and waited while they played the hole. Oh well...at least I got some golf in FINALLY!!! Been over a week!

Most people would consider that normal, LOL.

Everyone else isn't screwed up, just people like you, who think you hit into them when you come within 100 yards of them. Met a couple of really nice old guys today. More than makes up for the fruitcakes out there yesterday.

I suppose it didn't even occur to you to apologize to them for hitting into them?

There are lots of people like you in this world...take "offense" at any imagined thing and blow it way out of proportion. No sweat for me though. We normal people get used to it by the time we get to be 50!

I can't think of a thing that he's said about RSG that is positive in the last several years. The tragedy is that he obviously loves golf, but his posts here only are to criticize. >It's interesting that you get this same kind of reaction from >others in your life outside RSG. > Isn't it? -- ___, \o
