Subject: Outer Banks, NC Course Recommendations
I'll be taking a trip to the Outer Banks this year in early July and I
was curious if anyone has recommendations about which course(s) to
play. How far ahead of time should I make a tee time? I am looking
to pay around $100 for 18 holes.

Thanks!

Great, thanks for the advice everyone. I'm really looking forward to
leaving this cold Buffalo weather and golfing by the beach!

Currituck is a top-notch course, but it is a drive to the north end of
the OBX, worth it for the golf, played there last summer, Poa greens
were a LITTLE slow for summertime, but other than that the course
was top tier.

Blows away the other OBX offerings.

Thanks,
I think I will try Nag's Head Golf Links. Since I will be going
during the heavy vacation season, how far in advance should I reserve
a tee time? I imagine all of the courses are pretty crowded during
that time of year.

I haven't been down for a number of years but I would just call the
course and ask them. IIRC, they had plenty of spots open when we went
so we didn't have much trouble getting a tee time.
