Subject: On topic RSG - I told you so
For the record, a few months ago when the crybabies were wailing about all
the political and other off-topic posts that were permeating the board here
in RSG, I said at the time that it's cyclical. The election was over, and
pretty soon the weather would warm up, people would start thinking about
golf again, and the ratio of on-topic to off-topic threads would turn
decidedly back in favor of golf, just like it does every Spring.

Look around. It has.

There's a thread on Islam. One thread. And there's Rob's thread about low
shots under trees that, like all other threads Rob gets involved in, has
turned into a flame war. But even it is golf related. Sort of.

But other than that, all I see is golf here.

Hmmmmmm. Somewhere I read that this would happen.

Admit it. I'm a freakin' prophet.

Randy

Good prophecy. I guess it's gopher/golfer nature to try to find other
forms of entertainment during the cold "off season." Entertainment in
the form of off topic posts involving the "taboo" subjects of
politics, religion, race, and Speeders and Drunk Drivers murdering
people...

Now...let's just play golf America!! Let's all be friends as if we
were "strangers" paired up in a 4-some...

I won't with respect to you if you won't with respect to me;
otherwise, I'm just following the pattern people like you set for the
group. Fact is my post on David's low spinner was just a post about
golf until you in particular made it a debate.

Other than obsess about what I may or may not have said, what was your
contyribution to the low ball thread. I made a perfectly innocent post about a
shot David Laville made. No one forced you to make the troll replies.

Must you turn EVERY thread into an argument?

Randy
