I'm probably what you would consider an average Tiger fan - definitely the best today but not forever - yet. My question comes when I'm watching this match play tourney broadcast by the golf channel. It seems to me that when Tiger is up 5 holes after 6 that some attention would be given to other matches that were not runaways. In fact the match I wanted to know about, Garcia vs. Howell has not been mentioned yet. Oh well, I guess they need to appease the sponsors -NOT

Like it or not, the "new" generation of golf fans tune in to watch Tiger. I personally loved the tigerless playoff last weekend but I like to watch the Tiger when he's playing. I like watching someone soo good get soo mad..... he's human.

Oh well, I guess they need to appease the sponsors -NOT This isn't limited to golf - the media figure we want to watch celebrities. And they know what they're doing - there are a lot more casual golf fans out there watching Tiger than serious golf fans who are interested in the competition. This is show biz. As is the News, unfortunately.
