I guess everybody has done it. In my case I hit a great par-saving pitch on an otherwise completely botched par 5. There were two guys just off the green, so it was one of those "pick up the pin in your left hand, tap the ball in with your right and replace the pin" kind of things. I honestly have no clue as to how I missed it, but it didn't even touch the cup. Damned irritating - particularly when it was the first good round of golf that I played in over a month. OTOH, my hip injury seems to have finally disappeared. dave
