Why did Phil let his kids run on the 18th green at Pebble Beach? He
should know better! He's done that at other tournaments also.

The bigger question, why does he let his wife dress those kids like
that??

I enjoy Phil's wins.. he's got more "natural" ability than Tiger, but
clearly puts his family first. That's what everyone, including Tiger
should take away. Phil, like Arnie, is a fan favorite because he takes
the time to acknowledge the fans... just the way Arnie's father
brought him up.

Kuddos to Phil. He would've won even w/ Tiger in the field. I luv how
Tiger just wants to trounce people, but I also enjoy watching Phil
making eye contact w/ the gallery.. up or down. Tiger could learn some
humility while playing out there. Of course, his off the course
contributions do say heaps about him as a person.

I guess I luv to watch both these guys for different reasons. Davis is
an inflated pompous azz.

I'm not sure Tiger would be the player he is without his style of
concentrating on the game.

And I don't think Phil could play well without being loose.

You've got to play within your psychological limits as well as within
your physical limits.

I worried a little bit when his daughter ran on the green because I
thought she was wearing a heal, but then I remembered she is just a
young kid, no way she'll be wearing that, she wasn't,stupid me...

I actaully enjoy it when he has his kids with him,I dont like Phil
that much, but as a father I can relate to that, the only moment of
the day that I look forward to is my 2 years daugter running to the
door when I come back home from work, the rest of the day for me is
just waste of time< freezing cold in here, golf courses will be closed

Huge classic car show, with cars all over #18 at Pebble Beach.
I actually don't remember if there were cars on the green when
I was there, but I don't remember the green being roped off or
anything.

Yeah! And why did they let Jack run to the hole on the 16th at Augusta
when he sank that long putt? And Tiger jogging to the hole with the old
fist pump when he's coming back in a tourney. And keep those over weight
caddies off of 'em too ... should only let players on the greens. You're
right, we need to keep these 30-40 pound kids off the greens ...

It's poa annua - you can lob a hand grenade on that shit and it won't
make a difference in the roll.

The real question is why was everyone in the Mickelson clan, except
for Phil, dressed like Amy? And when not playing golf, does Phiol
dress like Amy, too? Bizarre...

Because he is a Dad and a husband and they are more important to him than
golf.

He goes to great expense to have them with him on the tour because they are
more important to him than the tour.

When he wins he can bring them all out.
