Got a couple of things from the grandkids, but aside from a couple of
golf shirts (my wife thinks I need a whole new golf wardrobe) nothing
golf related. Had a good Christmas
and I hope everyone out there had a good Christmas too.

Lol, I got the same thing! And a putting practice ball returner, with
a gopher that
pops up and says a witty saying each time you make a putt. And, lets
see
what else, a couple dozen balls that are the wrong kind. But it was
all well
meaning...

This is the first Christmas I can remember (of the past 23) that I
didn't receive anything having to do with golf. No silly tees, score
clickers, golf calendars, Top Flite balls ....... nothing. The only
golf item I got this season was the Rescue Mid 4 that I bought myself a
week ago, but that doesn't count.

I did receive a nice new birdhouse, however, which may indicate the
direction my golf career is going these days.

The Mighty Jewel had a big day today:

My grandchildren gave me some Sponge Bob golf balls to go with the
Builder Bob balls I got last year, and another ball ked "GRANDPA".
I got a sort of golf Christmas ornament, and another electronic score
keeper/bag tag. But they were proud of themselves, so I was happy go
get them.

My wife got me a playing lesson and Men's Club membership. Nothing
else was golf related.

Either your wife is a lot more open-minded than mine, or 'Men's Club' has a
different meaning in your parts.

http://www.mensclub.com/

What exactly comes with the membership, and how much does it cost? And what
exactly does a playing lesson entail?

When it comes to that sort of thing, all kinds of words are used. For
instance, "adult movie" used to mean one that with mature (not sexy)
themes.

This is the web page for the Broadland's Men's Club:
http://broadlandsmensclub.com/

My wife will pay when it's time - we're going to have a dinner meeting
early January, and sometime in Spring we make plans for the coming
year. Last year it cost about $150, paying for prizes and such -
but pretty much paying for itself with discounts. (and most of us
got prizes).

I was going to take a playing lesson last year, but ended up taking a
couple of regular lessons. This time my wife went to a pro at Indian
Peaks who was advertising one. I will find out what it consists of
- but the pro will actually see my game on the course, not just at the
range.

So big boy, did ya get a new money clip for Christmas?

Ouch, that is hitting below the belt. You know that a penny is hard to
come by this time of year.

But this fed the paranoia. I do believe that if USA started building
nuclear reactors again; they would be way safer and way more efficient than
those old ones. I am not sure the public embraces that concept yet though.

Wonderful Randy!

Wishing you and yours all the very best for a truly great Christmas, and
an equally promising New Year.

Here in Oz we are almost through our Christmas Day, a bit wet and
windy...yours is still to come!

From here it looks just great!
