Subject: Last night's dreams

Last night I dreamed I was playing a short par-4 hole that doglegs
around some houses. Something told me that if I hit my Rescue-3 just
right I could carry all the trouble. So I put it on a nice clump of
fluffy grass (no tee) and really hit down hard on it. The ball flew
nice and high, carrying all the OB and landed on the front part of the
green. Unfortunately, the pin was in the back. I don't know if I got
the two-putt birdie, but as I awoke I was wondering whether I should've
hit my Rescue-2 instead to get it back to the hole.
Then I went back to sleep and had a dream about Barack Obama watching
me compete in the Public Links qualifier. I shot 68-70 and didn't
qualify, but I got some good pics of Obama and got to talk to him a
good bit. He's a pretty cool guy.
Bizarre. Could a real round of golf be far behind?
