Subject: If Tiger wins all four majors this year...
... it won't be a Grand Slam unless he wins everything in between. A
tournament is a tournament, and who cares whether the media hypes some
events as majors? If he loses an event in May, then his streak is
over, regardless of what all the little tigger sycophants say. In
fact, the only way he will impress me is if he wins the four majors in
four consecutive weeks. Having a month or more between them isn't the
way Byron would have done it.

You're confused.

Grand Slam and streak aren't the same.

Apples and oranges.

LOL. All right, in sports context, grand slam is almost always 4.

Or 13 in some cases.

you do know that the term "grand slam" implies 4? so if you consider
that "a tournament is a tournament", then he's already won a grand
slam.

You're obviously not a bridge player.

I haven't had one of Denny's Grand Slam breakfasts so I don't know
what they consist of.

A. I don't think his goal is to impress you. You could write to him
and ask.

B. I don't think the powers that be will reschedule the four majors so
you can be impressed. You could write to them and ask.

C. I don't think your mother had any idea what an asshole you would
grow up to be. You could write to her and ask. Oh, sorry, you don't
know who she is. (Blush)

I know you're trying to be funny, but there are other racist pricks on
this newsgroup who say similar things, who don't understand that Tiger
will pass Nicklaus by April and then shatter all records in between
coptering off to that yacht of his.

The Snedekraps and Badderkraps should just pack it in.

A "gimme" can best be defined as an agreement between
two golfers neither of whom can putt very well.
