My very first round 4 Oct 2001

First 9, 91
With a 17 on the par5 second hole.

Second 9, 85
Only a 9 on the par5 18th.
This player is showing promise!

176, 106 over par, the transfer from mat to grass was painful.

Didn't play much after that, but have played weekly the past 3 years
Best so far 94

My very first round, August 1988: 140

My score on the last three holes: 10, 10, 10.

The irony:

I had zero recollection of that day or that score, but years later
I teed it up again with one of the guys I'd been paired with and, you
guessed it, he dug into his bag and produced the card! "Why why why why
WHY?" I asked and he said "you just don't throw away something like
that..."

Why would you confess to that in this group? Please post your swing video.

My very first round was 140, now here is a recent picture of
my swing at the top:

Does that look like the position of a 140 shooter?

My point is that for pretty much everybody in this game the first
time is NOT the charm.

Also; note my use of a cigar as (an illegal) alignment aid. I have no
shame! ;)

There is no such thing as "the position of a 140 shooter".

I have noticed golf content gets scant attention - at least until you have
honed your trolling skills.
But it does no harm to try.
Any vids I have are a little dated, I'll do a fresh one.
My iron ball-striking is improving since following some TGM content, but the
driver can cost me in the early part of the round.
I'll post a driver swing.
Thanks for showing interest
