sometimes I love this game and sometimes it just perplexes me. My last
four rounds have been 85, 96, 79, 99. WTF is up with that? Today was
windy, but so was yesterday...

Yeah earlier in summer I had shot 82 -85 , last 5 rounds have not broke
95.

When my best score was 85, I could easily shot 105 the same week - so
your experience is, at least, normal.
Now I can play (ie. have a proper swing), my scores rarely vary by more
than 6 or 7 shots.

thanks Ken, you're so insightful. 73 is beyond my realm of skill (I have
3 74's as PB's) but 110 is a distinct possibility tomorrow. We play
Cypress Ridge from the tips and it's been 40mph winds in the afternoon
here the last couple of days. Of course we could tee off at 8am but
decided to do 1pm instead. Yep, 110 could happen :-P

Sorry. I thought you were Phil Michelsen trying to figure out how to win
without actually wanting it. (This was a comment on Phil, not you. I hope

well, there's Brandon Golf Course in South Dakota (no Dunes there) or
Bandon Dunes Golf Course in Bandon, Oregon. If I were Arnie I would have
been offended at either course...

them being bright.
I sprained my left pinky, 10 days ago, so cry me a river... should be able
to hit some balls, lightly, in a few more days. But not in the wind.

Played today, off at 12:30 finished at 6:30 sheesh 6 hours, what a
mess.
I manged a 84 , wasn't bad considering how pissed off I was.
