Subject: Hole of the night

Not by me... but by an opponent.
On the par 5 4th my opponent hits his drive high and to the right... he
normally hits a draw, but this one stays right and I tell him I think it
went to the 7th fairway. He hits a provisional, and lo and behold, hits
a duplicate shot.
He finds his both balls on the parallel fairway and hits his second shot
over the trees and onto the green, 40 feet from the hole. He then drains
that shot for an eagle 3.

We were playing men's night from the white tees. The hole is 474 yards.

Yes it is. The hole measures about 240 to the center of the fairway at
the turn down to the right and another 240 down to the green.
