How much are you being paid by the Dems for each political post to this group. Not a silly question, the pump and dump stock boys do it all the time, usually using retired guys with no life. It really has to be something like that, based on the content of your material, don't you think? Best regards, Joe

I told the ROTC guys to get my deferment fixed, but they told me to get my physical anyway. So I got my physical that morning - in the evening, I was driving my motorcycle to the campus chess club when a car pulled out of a bar and hit me. Chess pieces went flying over the busy 4 lane road, as did I. The driver stopped for a moment, saving him a felony hit and run, then left, saving him a drunk driving. But I had his licence plate embedded in my leg. I wore my father's old WWII leather jacket, a helmet, good leather boots, good leather gloves, but ordinary trousers, so only my leg was hurt. I had 8 months to heal before ROTC summer camp, but still have the scar.

Just for the record, I've only voted twice in my life, for president. Both times for Perot. I was an volunteer lobbyist for foster kids on the state level for about 4 years and I learned that the political system really really stinks. I have never given any money to any political candidates and I liked Reagan. I'm not on the democrats side except for now because Bush is so bad. I guess that isn't true because now if I register it will be democrat. But most of all I know that nobody gives a damn about my personal stuff and I'm pretty sure I won't be posting after the election. It's like a disease. I know it's not going to make any difference and nobody is going to be awakened to the truth by some post on a newsgroup and since I don't know 'the truth', that would be pretty hard. One thing. I don't take myself nearly as seriously as it seems and I have no hard feelings about anything said here. I barely remember what I said myself. Why not run those same figures over the past 12 months and let us all in on that answer? Oh, but then you might have to be equally critical of someone from the far right, and that would never do, would it? William Clark

LLlllarry just seems to be more blind to another side of any argument other than the ultra right's. I've never seen a scintilla of acceptance of any centrist attitude from him, and don't pay much attention to AKA. Those of us closer to the middle can see reason from either side. I haven't seen that from you either. -- ___, \o

Try stretching our famous subiner's record back a bit further. Larry wrote the book on OT political posting in rsg. William Clark

The reason his count has gone down lately is because he has been run off every time he gratuitously opens another purely political thread. He cannot respond to the counterpoints, so he runs and hides until he launches his next piece of propaganda. AKA is just learning (unfortunately) from the master. William Clark
