Subject: Hate golfing with kids....

Golfed with some kid from a local high school golf team today. I only
played 9 holes, unfortunately. The weather is going to be bad for the
next few days, and I guess I'll be stuck in the house working on some
data. I guess I better not say anything about the cultural group the
kid identifies with, wouldn't want to offend anyone. I will say that
the kid is a King, FWIW. Anyways the kid "only" had 3 birdies for the 9
holes. Poor kid...had to put up with playing so bad...and he was a bit
upset with the way he was playing!
It always amazes me how well these kids play, the solid short games,
long off the tee, nice touch with the irons, nice smooth putting
stroke. I simply don't recall anyone having that much game when I was a
kid. Musta missed something.
A 4some (almost identified the cultural group the 4some identifies
with, but I caught it and deleted it!) cut in front of the kid on 10
too. I hope they let him through. Otherwise he had a long back 9!

Saying you don't want to indentify the minority the kid was associated with
is just like saying he is associated with a minority. The length people go
to say things they don't want to say. Is it because he's a nigger? Is it
because he's a spic? Is it because he's a jew? Is it because he's a (insert
common term to designate visible minority)?

Either you mention his cultural heritage or you don't. If you do, you step
over the line of pertinent and become impertinent.

Please learn the correct terminology so as not to offend any one group.
They don't like to be referred to as Female-Americans. The proper
