I replaced all my Winn grips with Star grips. I love the Star grips.
They work great. Unfortunately I have a drawer full of old Winn grips.
Nice grips. I like 'em, but Star grips are better. So I regripped a
couple of clubs with Winns; a driver and a 7W. I'm now struggling with
both clubs. I guess I need to go to Clubmakeronline and get some new
Star grips and write off the Winns. A good lesson though. Don't
stockpile!

Having uniform grips allows us to address other more complex golf
issues. Uniform grips could be equated to other fundamentals of the
game, like ball position.

My grips all have to be the same - standard Tour Velvet, +1 under the
left hand, +2 under the right, clean and tacky; usually last me 6
months. When I put a club in my hands, take what we all know as the
"valued" grip, I don't want to be feeling something different club to
club. Like, I don't want more then a ball maker, ball repair tool and 1
tee in my right pocket, 2-3 tees in my left, and so on.

Do you get them online or locally? I'd like to try one, but if
buying online would prob wait until I had a bigger ticket item.

The only place I know is John Muir (ClubmakerOnline). I wish more people
stocked them. They are inexpensive and very durable.
