whoa... you are taking it waaay too seriously! No surprise though to
find serious golfers around here though.

Each to their own, I prefer to take Ironman seriously rather than golf
(actually, that is a lie. I don't take Ironman seriously either, just
do it for the sheer fun of it!).

Only when there's money and/or bragging rights on the line. I seriously
want their money in my wallet. But that doesn't mean I'm not enjoying
every minute of it. I love competition. There's no better feeling than
coming from way behind to win.

OTOH, if I play with my wife, son in law or one of the grandkids,
serious is the furthest thing from my mind.

I suppose it is kinky if that's how your mind works. But I think for
most of us struggling with a 165 yard shot to a downhill runaway green
or a 28 foot putt on the 18th to win six ways on a $5 Nassau, kinky
thoughts are the furthest thing from our minds.

However, when we get to the evening entertainment portion of a golf trip
to Myrtle Beach, say at the Carolina Center for Interpretive Dance and
the Performing Arts (otherwise known as Thee Doll House), then it's a
different story.
