With the election tomorrow one hopes that, after a day or two of whining
or gloating over what ever the outcome is, there will be an uptick in
the number of golf-related posts. Of course, I'm just hopin', not expectin'.

Only problem with your thesis is that just as the election ends, so, too,
will the golf season for most in the US. Sadly, that means the usual array
of flame wars and other nonsensical stuff that goes on here 'til the weather
warms up in the Spring.

Well, the election is on the 7th, not tomorrow. And by the election I
expect snow to be on the ground here. A good portion of the country will be
pretty slow in the golf realm for a few months.
