Found myself driving on the Natchez Trace again today. Lots of cyclists out there today. Most of them had sense, but there were a couple of fools. One guy is pulled off to the side of the road on a bridge. His buddy has his bike up against the bridge rail, a few feet off the road. Fool is standing in the road with his bike on the road taking a swig of water. Someone is driving along, their kid goes off, they get distracted, one less cyclist, one more lawsuit. Another guy is towing a little bike trailer, like a biketor trailer! He's weaving all over the road. I move into the other lane to pass him, he almost turns into me as I pass him. The fool is on his cell phone! Glad to say there were a lot of cyclists out there today, and but for two fools, they were all riding as safely as you can on a narrow 2 lane highway with no shoulder.

Bob, what's the deal with your dislike of cyclists? My guess is that you recently found out that your wife was hooking up with a strong young bike rider, every time you had a tee time. Or is it that you just never learned to ride, and you hate everyone who does?

Sounds like you missed your chance to bag a few of those "fools."
