If you really smack a long iron you'll hit the ball fairly high and get
very little roll. However ol' Larry doesn't have nearly the clubhead speed
for anything like that. So figure on a pathetic 150 yards of carry and,
due to the waist-high trajectory, 70 or so yards of roll.
So yeah, in a bucket of balls he probably did get a few to go nearly 230.
It's also true that he'd hit his putter just as well.
