Unfortunately it wasn't for golf. :-(

The wife and kid decided to take a nap so I took the dog for a run on
the back nine of the track near my house. The course is closed for
the winter but at least I got to see it.

It looks like they lost a fair number of large trees from the ice
storm that swept through here about two weeks ago. Some of them will
change the holes quite a bit -- mostly on recovery shots from trouble.
That makes me happy. :-)

I would think sizing would be your biggest issue. I went clothes
shopping with my son yesterday. He's 5'10" and weighs 120 lbs. It's
a nighte finding pants that are both long enough and have a chance
to stay on his hips.

Yep, that's my size also. Pants are usually 29" waist and 34" long
but lately I've been wearing 32" length. Go figure.

Also, I think they are changing shirt sizes or something. I used to
always wear a medium but lately they are just to damn big. Now I but
smalls. I wonder if they aren't going they way of "vanity" sizes
where the L is really an XL so that people don't feel that they are
too fat.

My best friend is color blind. Best thing to happen to him was
riage. His wife dresses him.

The wife doesn't dress me unless it's for some kind of special
occasion. I just pick clothes out the closet and hope they match. I
don't really care, though.

I'm with you on this. I'm partially color blind and sometimes pick
interesting things to wear.

Best thing that happened to me when I was ried was that my wife undressed
me.

When ice storms hit here, you sometimes lose a few greens. Any
problems with them?

Of course, I'm color blind so I couldn't tell if the grass was brown
or green anyway. The British Open courses all look like Augusta to
me.

I seem to remember reading a story that Billy Mayfair is color blind.
When he first came onto the PGA Tour, his mom used to sew little
labels into his clothes so he could easily match them up. Sorta like
GRRAnimals.

Supposedly there was a line of men's clothes that did that.
Personally, it's just too much work. I just make a best guess and
make the excuse that I'm color blind if I look like a hobo. Doesn't
bother me much. I'm not big into appearances anyway.

Not big? I'm gonna skip this one, but you can bet that there's
incoming. :-)
