Subject: End of play Ryder cup
Why do they keep playing after the contest is over? In other years I
know I have seen players pick up and walk off the course after the cup
has been decided.

I like the idea. Toms played to the bitter end and it gave all of
the european golfers a chance to drink in some of the atmosphere the
last few holes.

Thats ok for the US but did the BBC do the same?

I don't remember seeing that at the Ryder Cup. At the Presidents Cup
they have an agreement that all matches on the course are halved after
one side wins the Cup.

Picks up remote and switches channel :-) who can listen to Miller more than
is necessary...
