Looks like I'll be in L.A. (Lower Alabama) in mid-June and perhaps
Destin, FL around the 23rd or 24th, so expect the big one to hit
somewhere and sometime around then.

Nope, not unless I leave the state. In 2005 everytime I left FL on business
during Hurricane season - a hurricane blew in - I was *never* here during
any of the hurricanes. Last year I only travelled once (you guessed it - we
had our one "brush" with a hurricane) during Hurricane season. My wife
doesn't want me travel until I can prove this is just a fluke ;-)
