On my home course, 150 yard par 3, complete carry over water. Two
weeks ago today I hit the edge of the cup on the fly, ball hit the
stick and bounced 15-20 feet away. I 3 jacked for bogey (buddy had a
tap in bird, so I had to give it a run).

Today playing in a threesome, a fivesome waved us up. With the crew
watching, I hit an 8 iron about 8 feet in front of the pin, and they
started yelling for it to go it, ended up about 6 inches short (no dick
jokes here, thanks!).

BTW, if anyone is in the SE michigan area and would like to play a top
notch course (Katke-Cousins at Oakland University) let me know!

The OU team has started to play and they're really making the course
more difficult. They must have rolled the greens in the last couple of
days, as they're firm and very fast.

Four paragraphs just to tell us you didn't get a hole in one?

On a related note, I spent a dollar on a lotto ticket, but much to my
amazement, I did not win the jackpot.

Try this instead....hold a pillow over your nose, mouth and
ears...really tight, don't let go, you'll find it's really quiet.

Played with a guy last week in a busy competition.
He aced the 14th and couldn't stop groaning that
it was his third in 2 months, he wasn't insured and
the last two cost him £250. He finished up in line
for the nett prize and said he'd buy drinks at the
prizegiving several hours later. I bought him a drink
and left :-(

get some peace and quiet.
