As bad as Tiger looked at the end, bogeying 17 and 18 just as he did Thursday, when you look at the scores of everyone in the third round, he had a terrific round. Go to masters.org and look at the leaderboard; virtually everybody shot a +par round today, with the exception of three players: Lee Westwood (E) Retief Goosen (-2) Tiger Woods (E) Makes you wonder what Goosen had for breakfast, doesn't it? :) Five birdies, three bogeys for him today, which suggests he's got room to rise tomorrow if he can keep that up. The weather looks a bit better for tomorrow; that should help the last several groups. I just checked the weather channel for temps at August: 47 degrees. Should be perhaps 8-10 degrees warmer tomorrow at the same time. Anyway, it would appear that Tiger had a pretty decent round considering how virtually everyone else responded to the same conditions. It seemed that he had a bad round, but comparatively he had a good one. And I'll bet that Tiger can't believe that at this point, he's one off the lead. It's too bad for Goosen that he's 4 strokes off the lead, but on the other hand, he was about 9 strokes off the lead earlier. I would have liked to have seen a Goosen/Woods final pairing. It's odd for an African - but Goosen has in the past had magnificent bad weather rounds. Maybe his swing doesn't require as much feel in the hands, maybe he has better tricks to warm them, or maybe his metabolism is different. It would be nice to know how he does it.

Of course, there were the two 'fucks' on 12 and 17 but that's ok. There are not enough gentlemen in this group to give..........a good fuck.
