Subject: Comfortable shoe?
Is there such thing as a comfortable golf shoe out there that actually
still keep your feet comfortable after 5000+ yards of walking? I have
an Adidas Z-Traxion that is only comfortable upto Hole 10, then
afterwards my feet are just sore. I wonder if it's the shoe or is it
my feet? Can I do anything about it?

Yes, the male will bit the hand that feeds him if you try to take food
or what he thinks is food away from him and the bitch will argue with
you but she won't actually bite you.

Do you want to come over and meet them?

Sure. But be aware that my teacher said I do not play well with others.

That's been my experience as well, having used Nike, Dexter, etc. FJ's
are it for me....have 3 pairs and I'm completely satisfied. Nice to
walk/carry 18 without blisters or sore feet.

One man's favorite shoe is another's arch enemy.
Everyone's different.
If the shoe fits, wear it.

I need a very wide-fitting shoe, EEE or EEEE.
Even if I find a golf shoe in these widths, they usually aren't
comfortable for me.

I have a pair of the Z traxion and I've never had a more comfortable
pair of golf shoes. I've only even had Adidas shoes for golf and I've
never been less than impressed with them.

But, as usual, YMMV

Influenced by the Ecco ads, I tried them out the last time I shopped
for
golf shoes, and wasn't very impressed at all. The store (Golfsmith)
didn't have a very wide selection of Ecco shoes, though, so maybe
that had something to do with it. There are a lot of Footjoys models
that I hate, too.

I didn't like the Bite shoes, either.

I'm not totally satisfied with the highest-end Dryjoys, but I haven't
found
anything better.

The GreenJoys are great shoes, They have an arch shank and offer much better
support than the Bites

I tried on the new footjoys with the BOA technology....what a piece of crap
that is.

Every year I have been replacing my golf shoes - because I'm too cheap
to replace them sooner after I find they aren't comfortable for
walking 18 holes.

But last year I bought Nike SHOX Golf Shoe. These are the shoes
that look like sneakers with cylinders in the heels. The rest of me
hurts after a round - but that's not my shoe's fault. I'm sticking
with these shoes.

Go see a podiatrist. If they proscribe orthotics, it will be the best
$500 you've ever spent. Unfortunately insurance won't cover them, but
flex spending accounts de-salt the price some.

Won't cost you very much to buy an insole. May correct some issues
relating to your feet so you could rule it out. Have you ever had
trouble with other shoes you wear for walking or excessive standing?

I have a wide and high arch and have had good luck with FootJoy, but,
shoes are definately an individual love/hate thing. Good luck.

They're great. Very durable, comfortable and stable. I've had them
for a few years, and they've held up well.
Best,
Ken

I've got a pair of Footjoys (I think they're Dry Joys) that I've had for 8
years and they've never given me a problem. I've just this year also
gotten a pair of Bite shoes that are also excellent.

I walk most of the time at my course. I have a pair of Ecco golf shoes
that are very comfortable, and give me good support and traction.
Go to a good shoe store, get yourself fitted properly, and get some
help with picking athletic socks that complement the shoes.
At least, all of the above works well for me.
Best,
Ken

Ken,

I have a 50% off coupon from Ecco and I was going to buy a pair of
their golf shoes. What kind do you have? How long have you had them?
I have a pair of their dress shoes that I love.
