Subject: Collegiate Golf Tournament in Germany
Hi,

I am posting this in this newsgroup to inform as many people as
possible about the tournament that my institution is hosting in 2007.

The Students Matchplay 2007 is a 2-day golf tournament within a 4-day
social program. University Teams of 4 are asked to send their players
to Bavaria / Germany on June 28, 2007 until July 1, 2007 - find some
more information on www.students-matchplay.com for more.

There is one blind spot on our homepage that will be filled after
in the next couple of days - the program:

Arrivel: Thursday, June 28 2007
- individual training round
- dinner at the executive restaurant at audi headquarters

Friday, June 29 2007
- qualification, strokeplay singles
- Bavarian Night with in a local brewery, brass music, and suckling
pick

Saturday, June 30 2007
- finals, matchplay singles
- floating buffet
- players party

Sunday, July 1 2007
- Weisswurst-Fruestueck
- Individal departure.

Accomodation for all 100 guest will be at a local 4*-Hotel,
international team will be provided a limousine and chauffeur for all
transfers, course is the private course of our patron hrh duke max of
bavaria, mixed teams are welcome, fee per person is 100 euros, there
are
financial support options.

Ususally we contact teams directly, maybe somebody is reading thus, who
I have missed so far. The world is huge.

Sounds like Big Tex will be all over this one!

So that's what you guys call it in Germany .... "suckling pick?"

hi,

somebody ked my message as spam. sorry for that irritation. this
tournament is hosted by a University in southern Germany, as such I do
feel that my post is of informative value, even more since there are
discussions concerning the texture of golf gloves etc.
