Subject: Bulwer-Lytton contest: results for 2006
Winner:
Detective Bart Lasiter was in his office studying the light from his one
small window falling on his super burrito when the door swung open to reveal
a woman whose body said you've had your last burrito for a while, whose face
said angels did exist, and whose eyes said she could make you dig your own
grave and lick the shovel clean.

JG
Carmichael, CA

1 sentence, 63 words

Runner-up:
So think of it this way: the swing down starts when the weight falls back
onto the left foot; it proceeds for a millisecond or so with the direct
down, NOT AROUND IN THE LEAST, motion of the hands only (the shaft remaining
90 degrees with the left forearm) with the BODY PULLING THE LEFT ARM/HAND
DOWN (not shoulder or deltoids), the rotation then alMOst begins immediately
and continues the pull on the left arm and the right arm and hand support
and push the pulled hand to keep it from being slowed down once the release
starts to occur of its own accord.

GH
Flagler, Fl

1 sentence, 104 words. Hmmm... methinks he should have won!
