I think its time for the USA team to beocme an Americas team to bolster the side with the likes of Cabrera and Weir. Top three in the world doesnt cut it when its a 12 man team. Great to see both sides wild card picks score so many points and play such excellent golf. Tiger, somehow gets out of it with a winning record despite being the worst player on show up to Saturday afternoon. Furyk shoulders sure did have to be broad. THank goodness Woosie decided to use the out of form Harrington in all 5 sessions!

Tiger's obviously the best player there by miles & is always going to pick up a few points even playing his B or C game, but his downbeat attitude must have a negative effect on team morale. Take the two least well known players on the US team, Taylor and Wetterich. They see a positive, fist-pumping Tiger when he is beating them all on tour, but when he's on their team, he looks like he can't be bothered. That's not really going to make them feel special.

He did hide Padraig at the end of the list because he was playing so shite. But I guess everyone can't be 100% on the weekend. Furyk carried him and on Friday Harrington (who was just as much a liability as Mickelson) and Monty couldn'r hole a putt. numerosu times in the water, 2 three foot putts missed, Woods was awful!

I couldn't, without relying 100% upon a partner. I wish there was some way for Phil to back out without upsetting his sponsors - but it's the Captain's responsibility to give him fewer rounds if he's not playing well. I will be interested in seeing if Phil is more ready in September starting next year - with the longer season. He won't like that as he enjoys the California swing early in the year, and he also wants to take a significant time off to recharge.
