Under-par for 72 holes in pro events is commonplace, even the norm, I suppose.

But how often will the runner-up of a tournament be bogey-less for the entire 72
holes?

Nick O'Hern has just won the Australian PGA and runner-up Peter Lonard seems to
have done just that.

O'Hern won the fourth play-off hole (missed a three foot sitter when one stroke
up to force the play-off) with a bunker chip-in birdie.

I seem to remember Bubba Watson doing it last year, and he finished
somewhere around 4th place.

Yeah - Bubba did it at Tucson this year, and finished T3, 3 shots behind
Kirk Triplett.

Interestingly, no one has *won* a PGA Tour event with no bogeys since
Trevino did it in '71 - New Orleans, I think.

Tiger went 71 holes at the Amex back in '02, then bogeyed the final hole to
win by one shot.
